FAULT FINDING

Fault finding in electrical systems involves identifying and diagnosing issues within electrical circuits and devices. This process typically begins with a thorough visual inspection to look for signs of damage, wear, or loose connections. Electricians often use specialised tools such as multimeters, ohm meters and thermal imaging cameras to test and analyse electrical components.

Once potential faults are identified, our team will isolate sections of the circuit to pinpoint the exact location of the problem. This may involve checking for continuity, voltage levels, and current flow. Effective fault finding requires a solid understanding of electrical theory, circuit design, and safety protocols to ensure that repairs can be made efficiently and safely. After the fault is identified, appropriate measures are taken to rectify the issue, which may include replacing components, repairing wiring, or running new cabling.
