How long does a switchboard upgrade take?

Most standard home upgrades are done in 4 hours. Larger jobs, like a new enclosure or mains upgrade, can take longer, and we’ll tell you upfront.

How long will the power be off?

Usually 2 hours. We’ll let you know the timing before we start, so you can plan around it.

Do I need an upgrade for air-con or an EV charger?

Often, yes. Older boards may not have the space or capacity for a new circuit. We’ll check your board and tell you what’s needed.

What certificate do I get?

Once the work is finished and tested, you’ll receive a Certificate of Electrical Safety (CES), as required in Victoria.

How much does a switchboard upgrade cost?

Most upgrades cost depending on the number of circuits and whether a new enclosure or mains upgrade is needed. Call 0402 624 164 for a free quote.
